Day is a GrandMama's Baby from Atlanta, Georgia.
For over a decade, she has lived at the intersection of nature, alchemy, and holistic healing — guided by ancestral wisdom, deepened by life, and rooted in the belief that true wellness honors the whole person.
Her Story
She didn't find nature. Nature found her. A curious little girl fascinated by her Grandmother’s ways of healing in a post Tuskegee Experiment world, Day learned early on that aloe vera healed wounds with a surgical precision, a little honey & apple cider vinegar could stop a leg cramp in its tracks & potato milk could soothe acid reflux in seconds.
That foundation grew as she did. A North Asian family introduced her to Eastern medicine and the balance of body, mind, and spirit. Herbalism and plant medicine called her deeper. And when life brought her to her knees — navigating anxiety, depression, and mothering a young son with a delicate immune system — she answered with roots, remedies, movement, and nourishment. Those practices healed her son. They also saved her life.
Her Work
Sister Nature's offerings are an extension of that journey — spanning the full landscape of natural living:
🌿 Holistic Healing || intuitive energy work, herbal remedies & ritual
🍃 Garden-Based Cooking || nourishing food rooted in culture & the earth
🌱 Plant & Garden Care || an act of self love. Nature is truly a mirror. Caring for plants is caring for yourself.
✨ Natural Hair Care || honoring the crown naturally with the mindfulness that what we put on our crown has the potential to effect our whole body
Her Why
The culture of the Deep South runs through her veins. Her grandmother, Bessie M.J. Baker. Her Great Aunt, Nellie J.M. Her Great Grandmother, Della Mae Jones.
Say Their Names.
Their legacy moves through every remedy, every ritual, every meal, every plant she tends. To heal others is to heal the bloodline.
The journey is ever evolving — and filled with Gratitude.
