Fresh Cooked Love

Hi there! I’m Day, The Kitchen Magician.

I’ve loved food for as long as I can remember — even as a kid flipping between Nickelodeon and the Food Network. As an adult, I fell in love with the science behind good food, but for me, cooking has always been about soul.

My dishes start in the garden and are guided by the seasons. Fresh herbs in the summer, slow-roasted comfort in the cooler months — everything I make is rooted in intention.

And long before Fresh Cooked Love, there was Dulce Deluxe — my sweet little bakery dream where sugar, late nights, and creativity lived. That spirit is still here, just softer, wiser, and even sweeter.

Everything I cook is touched by love — and by the ancestral wisdom that moves through my hands.
