Christmas 2014 — money was tight, but my heart was full. Jumbo red velvet cupcakes filled with chocolate hazelnut spread and topped with a beautiful swirl of cheesecake frosting made from scratch were wrapped up and passed out as gifts. The response was undeniable. Within a week, an 8 cupcake menu was written. The rest is history.
This is that recipe, reimagined. A soft, fudgy red velvet brownie baked around a silky chocolate hazelnut center, adorned with just enough white chocolate chips for the perfect bite every single time.
